Beware of Fraudulent Social Media Accounts & Scams

Beware of fraudulent accounts purporting to be official Cash Crusaders accounts advertising on WhatsApp, TikTok, Facebook and Instagram. Please note that these fake accounts are not affiliated with Cash Crusaders, our brand or any of our stores.

Scammers use our brand name, logo, store information, photos, videos and other details to make their ads/accounts appear legitimate. Many accounts make use of Ai tools to realistically alter product details and pricing.

Do not click on or buy from these ads/accounts.

We are doing everything we can to have fake accounts shut down. Please report and block these ads/accounts as scams on WhatsApp, TikTok, Facebook and Instagram. Where possible, email a screenshot of the account to us so we can report these fake accounts from our official accounts as well. Email this information to marketing@cashcrusaders.co.za.

When in doubt, verify first

If you are unsure whether an advert, social media account, WhatsApp message or payment request is genuine, do not make a payment.

• Ask you to pay a deposit to secure a product advertised on social media or WhatsApp.
• Ask you via social media to make payment by EFT.
• Send you a payment link via social media or WhatsApp to purchase a product.
• Ask you to pay money into a personal bank account.
